TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DOMunder is a historical attraction managed by the DOMunder foundation with Chamber of Commerce number 30213532, located at Domplein 4, in Utrecht.

Tickets

Admission tickets are non-refundable, non-redeemable, non-replaceable, and non-extendable. The barcode on the tickets must not be folded or damaged. If the barcode is damaged, it may not be readable, and access may be denied. Copying the ticket is futile. Abuse will be prosecuted. A ticket grants one-time access to DOMunder. The validity of the ticket expires after the access control.

 

Visitor Conditions

Visitors must adhere to the following conditions when visiting DOMunder.

 

1. General

The visitor enters DOMunder at their own risk. Parents and guardians are responsible for the behavior of their children. Visitors must always follow the instructions of our staff. Our staff is authorized to remove visitors who do not comply with the visitor conditions mentioned or who disturb or threaten to disturb the order, from DOMunder. In such cases, the visitor is not entitled to compensation.

 

2. Access

It is only possible to enter DOMunder with a valid admission ticket. The visitor must keep this admission ticket in their possession during their stay in DOMunder and present it upon request by one of our staff members. The admission ticket is only valid for the booked day and starting time. If the visitor is late for the starting time, the right to access is forfeited. The admission ticket loses its validity upon leaving DOMunder. DOMunder has a recommended minimum age of 8 years and older. DOMunder reserves the right to refuse entry to individuals, for example, if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs or if they disturb or threaten to disturb the order. 3. Safety

Regarding the safety of visitors, it is strictly prohibited for visitors to enter technical rooms and/or areas designated as accessible only to staff. DOMunder is not responsible for any damage caused to personal belongings, clothing, and/or body parts.

 

4. Personal Belongings

The carrying of weapons or other dangerous objects (at the discretion of our staff) is prohibited. The use of narcotics is not allowed. Radios and other sound equipment are not allowed. Scooters, (children’s) bicycles, skates, and other possible means of transportation are not allowed in DOMunder. Bringing (backpacks and purses), umbrellas, baby carriers, strollers, and carrying other large objects is not allowed. Visitors are requested to store these and other items in one of our lockers. DOMunder accepts no responsibility for damage to or loss of goods entrusted to us by visitors.

 

5. Pets

Pets are not allowed in DOMunder due to the safety of both the pets and the visitors of DOMunder. DOMunder does not provide pet care services.

 

6. Clothing and Footwear

Everyone must have covered upper and lower body clothing and wear footwear inside DOMunder.

 

7. Photography and Filming

It is allowed to take photographs for personal use unless otherwise indicated at the entrance. The use of flash and/or tripods is not permitted. Publication of visual and/or audio material is prohibited unless prior written permission has been granted by the management of the DOMunder foundation. It is possible that you, as a visitor, may be filmed or photographed. The DOMunder foundation reserves the right to use this material for publication.

 

8. Crowds and Technical Malfunctions

DOMunder has limited capacity. DOMunder is not liable for any damage or disappointment. Some components are controlled by various technologies. It may happen that delays occur due to technical malfunctions or that visiting DOMunder is not possible at all. DOMunder does not provide refunds on ticket prices for delays on the visitor’s side or due to our own planning. DOMunder is not liable for any damage or disappointment.

 

9. Damage

DOMunder is carefully maintained. However, visitors may encounter an unsafe situation or damage. We request visitors to report this to one of our staff members as soon as possible so that we can take action. It is also possible that visitors inadvertently cause damage themselves. In this case as well, we request visitors to report it at the counter before leaving DOMunder.

 

10. Liability

If a visitor has suffered damage during the visit to DOMunder, they must report it to the counter before departure. Any claims for compensation made at a later time will be excluded. The DOMunder foundation accepts no liability for any damage suffered by the visitor, unless such damage is a direct result of intentional actions by DOMunder or its staff members. Liability cannot be accepted in the event of loss or damage to articles entrusted to the DOMunder foundation for safekeeping. The exclusion of liability does not apply to the extent that the DOMunder foundation receives compensation from an insurance company or another third party with regard to the incurred risk.

 

11. Promotion and Sales

Promotion or sales of services and/or products within DOMunder or in the immediate vicinity of DOMunder is not allowed without prior written permission from the management of the DOMunder foundation.

 

12. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside DOMunder.

 

13. Catering

The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply to catering deliveries. These conditions are available upon request.

 

14. Children and Supervision

Children between the ages of 0 and 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult supervisor.

 

15. Ticket Ordering, Booking Changes, and Discounts

DOMunder recommends purchasing tickets online. Due to high demand for DOMunder, it is possible that tickets for a specific day and/or starting time are sold out. A group booking can only be canceled in writing up to 14 days prior to the visit. A single ticket can be changed up to 24 hours prior to the tour. It is not possible to apply a discount retrospectively to purchased tickets and offset the discount.

 

16. Refunds for Absence or Late Arrival

DOMunder does not provide refunds for absent persons belonging to a group and/or individual visitors. If you arrive late after booking for a specific starting time, you will not receive a refund of the admission price or any other form of compensation.

 

We do not provide refunds or any other form of compensation in the following cases:

• Illness or absence.

• When your expectations of DOMunder do not match the experience.

• When delays occur.

• If you become unwell.

• Loss or theft of the admission ticket.

• If the visitor obtains the admission ticket from a third party other than the DOMunder foundation and the third party fails to remit the admission fee to the DOMunder foundation for reasons on the third party’s side.

If the visitor, for whatever reason, does not use the admission ticket, it is at their own expense. Once an admission ticket has been obtained, it cannot be exchanged. In these cases, there is no refund of the admission price.
